A simple way to detect if a USB 3.0 interface is available on a computer under Linux

Now that more and more computers are using the USB 3.0 interface, how do you know if there is a USB 3.0 connector on your computer? The following simple commands can be easily implemented.

Open the terminal and enter the following command:

Lsusb

This command will display the USB interface information for your computer, and you will see results similar to the following:

As long as the 3.0 root hub in the results indicates that your computer has a USB 3.0 connector.

Verify which interface is USB 3.0

Normally the USB3.0 interface is blue, so you can confirm that the interface is a USB 3.0 interface as long as you see the USB port is blue.
