This holiday I read the work of Stephen Covey "Seven Habits of high-performance people", this is my first reading management books, feeling quite deep but also feel difficult to write. Of course, the process of reading is also quite difficult, and it was not until I wrote this reading note that I could read the whole book and understand the outline. The book that needs to "study" is more the essence, I do not expect to read only once can fully grasp the principles and rules mentioned in seven habits, the author also in the preface to explain how to use this book, said: In the development of self-improvement can be readily read and put into action. So I'm going to write a reading note after the first reading of the book summary of the book on the seven Habits of the brief definition, structure and the initial reading of the harvest, in the future reading to continue to improve the reading notes, to be proficient in the use of the principles of the book in life.
The book is divided into four parts.
The first part is to re-explore the self, in the first chapter of the author through the education of his son's personal experience and a few easy to understand the narrative tells us: high-performance life is a basic principle, only when people learn and follow these principles, to integrate them into their own character, to enjoy the true success and lasting happiness. This leads to the second chapter-the introduction of seven habits. As the saying goes, "Thought decides action, action decides habit, habit determines character, character determines destiny." "This shows that the habits of our lives have a great impact, because it is consistent, unconsciously, years of influence on our moral character, exposing our nature, our success or failure. This chapter gives seven custom models, through the "Positive initiative", "The Beginning of" "First Things" the three habits of the transition from the dependence period to the independence period, the second stage is on the basis of the independence period through the "double-win thinking", "know the Self" and "integrated comprehensive effect" of the three habits completed to the interdependence of the transition. A person can be interdependent, can not only communicate with people in depth of their own ideas, but also to see the wisdom and potential of others. As for the seventh habit of "constantly updating" covers the other six habits, talking about self-renewal-to achieve a balanced and regular update on the four levels of life. It is a continuous improvement, spiral upward growth process that helps us to improve ourselves to a new level, at which we will be better able to understand and practice several other habits.
The third part is about the success of the public domain: from independence to interdependence. Individual independence does not represent true success, and a successful life also requires the pursuit of success in the public domain. In the process of implementation, it is necessary to further develop the "double-win thinking", "knowledge of the solution of their own" "comprehensive integration efficiency" of the three habits. The habit of four "double-win thinking" is the principle of interpersonal leadership. Winning people think of life as a stage of cooperation, not an arena. The world is big, everyone has a foothold in space, the virtue of others do not have to be regarded as their own loss. The principle of mutual benefit is the basis of all interpersonal communication, which can make the two sides learn from each other, influence each other and conspire for their benefit. The cultivation of such a culture without extraordinary insight, the spirit of initiative, and security, life direction, wisdom and strength as the basis. Habit five "know oneself" is the principle of empathy communication, meaning is to seek to understand each other first, and then strive to let each other understand themselves. This principle is the key to effective interpersonal communication. Empathy listening is to listen for the purpose of understanding, ask the listener to stand on the speaker's point of view to understand their thinking patterns and feelings, in essence, to fully and deeply understand each other emotionally and intellectually. This habit is the key to emotional investment, whether it is in the ordinary life to manage feelings or to improve communication efficiency in the work is very helpful. When we stand in each other's position, in order to understand each other's attitude to listen can open the heart and heart of the profound communication, enhance each other's feelings. The habit of six "comprehensive integration" is the principle of creative cooperation. Its basic mentality is: if a person with great wisdom and I disagree, then the other side of the proposition must have I have not experienced the mystery, worth to understand. Pay attention to the different psychology, emotion and intelligence of different individuals, as well as the different worlds that people see in their eyes. Judge and respect the differences and learn from each other.
The last part is about self-improvement and perfection, that is, the habit of "constantly renewing". Constantly updated is a balanced self-promotion principle, in the physical, social \ Emotional, spiritual, intellectual four levels to hone their own, in a wise and balanced way to constantly update themselves, improve efficiency. Habit Seven is closely related to the first six habits, which not only improves the efficiency of the implementation of the other six habits, but also realizes the process of spiraling upward and perfecting the ego between growth and transformation.
The whole book is mainly for the reader to summarize the seven habits of high-performance people, teach us step by step to achieve from the inside to create themselves. I realize that true success and long-lasting happiness are not just personal success and happiness, but a concerted effort to combine one's own, lover, friend, colleague, adhere to the right principle, to find a balance between practicing and enhancing practical ability, so as to create an effective and meaningful life together. But as the author puts it: The seven habits are a constant struggle, although I have read the whole book, but also just understand the seven habits of the brief definition, architecture, for the concept of the book is not yet a handy level. In order to break through the shackles of many years of habitual thinking, we need to sacrifice the sense of security of habitual things for the time being, and make personal accomplishment and interpersonal relationship more effective through the efforts of knowledge, skill and willingness. Margaret Thatcher once said: The secret of all growth is self-restraint, and if you learn to harness yourself, you have one of the best teachers. I am determined to be under the guidance of this book to open the "door of Change", in the process of learning these habits continue to grow, improve the self, this is the first time for their own investment it! I hope that many years later, I will be able to look back on this book with gratitude, and sincerely share the truth of seven principles with the loved ones, and combine the learning with practice and knowledge.
