Recently, the home wireless network for some reason, need to connect two wireless routers, one of which as the primary router (Tp-link wr740n), Wan Port connection broadband, and the other as a Slave router (tp-link wr742n), as the expansion of the port, signal range. There are two ways to set up two wireless routers for connection: 1. Master lan--from wan;2. Master lan--from LAN.

First, the IP of the two routers cannot be the same, and the primary router is the default 192.168.1.1, which changes from the router.

1. The first is to change the router's IP (LAN settings) to 192.168.2.1, and then set the WAN port IP is dynamic IP or static IP (192.168.1.X PS where X, it must be in the LAN has not used IP address, otherwise it will cause conflict, The gateway can be set to 192.168.1.1), then the computer and phone connection from the router will be able to surf the internet, but the main router connected to the computer phone is not in the same network segment.

2. The second is to change the router's IP (LAN settings) to 192.168.1.2,wan port is not connected, not set, and to turn off the DHCP function! Then the computer and phone connection from the router to the main router is the same as the network segment.

Finally, save the restart router, usually set up the router and then connect the network cable.
