In the previous chapter, we proposed a complete solution for establishing Chinese Enterprise Informatization: EOMs (Enterprise Operating Model System) enterprise business model system. It also shows that EOMs must have the logical architecture of BIS business information system and MIS Management Information System. So how to construct bis and MIS? What is the relationship between them.

1,BisArchitecture

Business Information System bis is the sum of all business systems of an enterprise.

BisIt is composed of BISP, gbis, and SBIs.

1)BISPBusiness Information System Platform

The Business Information System Platform BISP is a system that handles common problems of various business information systems. It receives data and operation requests from multiple business information systems for public processing, and returns the processing results to the requester or receiver of the next platform.

Generally, an enterprise has more than one product, and more than one product operation business. When multiple products and services emerge, there must be a public processing part, this public processing part is the theoretical basis of the platform.

2)GbisGeneral Business System

The General Business Information System (gbis) is an information system that processes similar products and similar businesses in the same industry or across industries. For example, the savings business in the banking industry can be considered as a general business, the information-based savings system can be regarded as a general system.

The differences between similar products in the same industry or across industries that everyone cares about most are not solved by developing different business systems, it is also achieved through the scalability and customization features provided by the general business system.

In particular, the general business system gbis mentioned here is totally different from the architecture of the business system we are talking about now. The current business system architecture is an independent system that relies entirely on itself to complete system functions. Gbis relies on the BISP business information platform to complete system functions.

3)SBIs

Specialized business information systems refer to the informatization of products and services specific to the Enterprise. It is characteristic of the enterprise. If this enterprise does not have products of the same type as other enterprises and does not share the same business practices with other enterprises, it may need SBIs to meet special requirements. In particular, SBIs is not required for different business practices of the same business. It should be addressed in the general business system gbis.

2,MISArchitecture

MIS is the sum of all management information systems of an enterprise, or the sum of all non-business information systems.

MISIt is composed of MISP, GMIS, and SMIs.

The Management Information System platform is a system that handles common problems of various management systems. It receives data and operation requests from multiple management systems for public processing, and returns the processing results to the requester or receiver of the next platform.

The difference between similar management systems in the same industry or across industries that everyone cares about most is not solved by developing different management systems, it is also achieved through the scalability and customization features provided by the management information system.

In particular, the general management information system GMIS mentioned here is totally different from the architecture of the management information system we are talking about now. 3)SMIs

SMIs refers to the informationization of the enterprise-specific management activities. It is characteristic of the enterprise. If other enterprises do not have such management activities, the enterprise needs to establish SMIs. In particular, SMIs is not required for the same management of different business practices. It should be addressed in GMIS. Generally, most enterprises do not have SMIs because management activities are common activities.

3,BisRelationship with MIS

BisThe relationship with MIS is the relationship between the data provider and the data user. bis transmits the business data of the day to the MIS system through the data transmission platform DTP in BISP for MIS. Although both BISP and MISP have a logic separation DTP, the two instances can be one product in practice.

4,BISPAnd the external interface platform EIP in MISP.

Both BISP and MISP have designed the EIP of the external interface platform.This platform is a channel for enterprises to exchange and share external information. It is a channel for enterprises to achieve the same industry, cross-industry,InternetCommunication channels.Although both BISP and MISP have logically separated EIPs, they can be two instances of one product in practice.

 We designed EOMs Based on the top ten informatization principles of construction enterprises. It highlighted the planning principles, global principles, stratified principles, Architecture Principles, commonalities and individuality principles. The principles of commercialized software, advancement, standardization, and standardized business will be reflected in the deeper EOMs design. We will further design and describe each element in EOMs in the subsequent sections, so that people will have a gradual cognitive process for the implementation of EOMs.
