Currently, I know that there are three tools for word search and Translation:
- Youdao desktop dictionary
- Google Kingsoft
- Lingoes
1. youdao desktop dictionary
Advantage: the speed is good, and the word query accuracy is good.
Disadvantage: you cannot understand the settings of a proxy server. It sometimes uses the proxy in iesettings, and sometimes uses the address set in its own attributes. What is hard to understand most is that a proxy server needs to be restarted? Dizzy, a group of Rice barrels developed, fortunately did not give two sets of software: one is with proxy, one is without proxy. Also, after upgrading so many versions, even a single word translation cannot be involved.
2. Google Kingsoft
Advantage: in general, it is still good (with a thick background, coming from Kingsoft), so it is good to launch in such a short time.
Disadvantages: but there are also many disadvantages. Especially on the homepage (pages without any words entered), a lot of advertisements are displayed in the green and green colors. Some advertisement images are too vulgar to look. When you use this kind of software, what do people think of you when they see that screen? (Of course, it's okay if you're at home ). In addition, when the web page contains so many broken online advertisements, the startup speed is extremely slow, and the speed of starting Visual Studio 2008 professional is almost reached.
I installed 1.95 today, so I couldn't get a word in Firefox. I had no answer when I checked the Internet. I finally found that I had to restart the machine. Also, it was a word: frustration. Basically no tests, right? Also, it does not support word translation on Firefox ???
3. lingoes
Advantage: all major containers for translation can be used to take words and draw words.
Disadvantages: too bloated, a word-taking window, there are a lot of buttons, dizzy. Yes? You just want to see the translation, not how many functions you can integrate into this small window. Only one word can be translated. Is it different from word extraction? You might as well not support the entire sentence or phrase.
The three software have been installed. Unfortunately, none of them are extremely comfortable to use. Maybe this is free software, right? It's all done.
