The C:Program Filesgoogle folder was deleted because the Chrome homepage was tampered with and various settings could not be recovered

Prompt when reinstalling Chrome: The installation failed to start Google Chrome setup.

Workaround:

1. Open the registry: Windows Key + R--Input regedit--Enter

(Note: The Windows key is near the left CTRL key of the Microsoft icon)

2. Find

32-bit: Hkey_local_machine\software\google\update

64-bit: hkey_local_machine\software\wow6432node\google\update

Deletes an item that begins with Clinet.

3. Restart the chrome installation. (I'm reinstalling Chrome and installing EXE offline with chrome.) In short, all the questions point to GoogleUpdate.exe)
