Accidentally found in the/dev directory there are several loop devices, a search that this is a pseudo-device (pseudo-device), it can connect a file as a device (just like Windows with a virtual CD-ROM mount ISO file).

Then do the experiment to verify:

1. First create a file in a directory:

DD if=/dev/zero of=1. FAT32 bs=64m count=1

2. Then format to FAT32:

Mkfs.vfat 1. FAT32

3. Connect to the Loop file:

Losetup 1. FAT32

4. Mount to the file directory tree:

Mount -T vfat/dev/loop0/media/vda1

Smooth, with the DF command to see the mounted file system. You can also put files in.

Next is the uninstall:

First reverse mount, then disconnect the file and loop0:

Umount /media/vda1
Losetup -d/dev/loop0
