About the "Medical Guide" of ArcGIS 10 Desktop/Engine"

I would like to use a license-free module to add it. ESRI will usually be very friendly, huh, huh. This record is as follows:

In the past, TBE was used directly. This time, the details show the feature/increment of ArcGIS 10 Desktop:

I don't know whether TBE was clear in the past, because in the lic file of TBE, FX is also included in the file, resulting in a lot of "drug guides.

2. ArcGIS 10 Engine

The license mode has been completely switched from the ecp Method to the Desktop mode. If the Engine is not installed, the ArcGISAdministrator program cannot set the Engine, including authorization.

1) ecp is the ESRI's own licensing algorithm. From the perspective of transfer, ESRI trusts the Desktop licensing method or thinks it is more convenient;

2) Since it is transferred to the Desktop, let's talk about the Engine's "Medical Guide ":

3) Like Desktop 10, the single-host license of Engine 10 also adds FX to each license.

However, you must note that ESRI does not have the floating ArcGIS Engine Developer Kit license in the floating license mode. That is to say, the Development Kit license is only a standalone license !!!

 

3. Summary

1) I personally think that the number and name of "Medicated Guides" are very clear.

2) "FX" is obviously the suffix of the standalone license.

3) if the floating license does not have the Development Kit license, it is clear that we need to go further into the standalone license mechanism.

4) for the license mechanism of ArcGIS 10, it is also obvious that it needs to go deep into the consideration of using authorization codes to authorization files, authorization files to license files, or directly license file encryption mechanisms.
