P. C. Xiong, Y. S. fan, and M. C. Zhou ,"Web service configuration under multiple quality-of-service attribute, "IEEE Trans auto sci & Eng., vol. 6, No. 2, pp. 311-321, limit l 2009.
This article was published on the IEEE transaction in on Google Scholar. The content of this article is related to QoS service composition. the author Xiong pengcheng is not a strange name. When I read a thesis in the direction of Petri Net last year, I remember that he had a paper on IEEE Trans on SMC, but its transaction is still awesome ). I checked it on the author's homepage and found that two additional IEEE transaction articles were published this year, which is quite good.
This article still models and analyzes the Web service configuration based on Petri net, and proposes SC-Net (service configuration net) to simulate functional associations, in addition, QoS-based selection is added and the linear programming method is used to obtain the optimal solution. the difficulty of the full text lies in the Petri net part. As this direction is not my current focus, I have not carefully read the full text. (S1) summarized several research directions of web service QoS and found it useful.
Direction 1: QoS specification and description (QoS modeling)
(1) Generic QoS dimensions
S. Ran ," A model for Web Services Discovery with QoS , "Sigecom exchanges, vol. 4, No. 1, pp. 1-10, Mar. 2003.
Some web service QoS attributes are classified.

(2) Non-generic QoS dimensions
W. J. Yang, J. Z. Li, and K. H. Wang ," Domain-adaptive service Evaluation Model , "Chinese J. Computers, vol. 28, No. 4, pp. 514-523, apr.2005.
Many context-dependent and domain-dependent non-functional properties are mentioned.
Y. Liu, A. H. H. Ngu, and L. Zeng ," QoS computation and processing ing in Dynamic Web Service Selection , "In Proc. 13th Int. World Wide Web Conf., New York, May 2004, pp. 66-73.
Mentioned domain specific dimensions
Direction 2: Composition of web services according to QoS requirements.
This is generally referred to as "QoS-aware service composition", which is a hot research direction. The Global QoS optimal solution is an NP-hard optimization problem. Generally, it is based on Integer Programming and genetic Algorithm .
(1) local optimization

Eflow System

I have read this article and discussed from the perspective of economics how to provide reliable feedback to users. There are many mathematical formulas.

(2) Global Optimization

Direction 3: QoS in dynamic environments
Dynamic meanings include two layers: (1) Changes in QoS of a Service combination in a dynamic environment (2) Changes in the unavailability or reliability of some Web Services
These will affect the QoS of the combined service, so dynamic adjustment is required to adapt to the environment,
Projects in this area include METEOR-S, Crossflow
Related middleware: agflow, swindew, and glueqos
direction 4: the author of web service configuration
introduced the research on service component architecture (SCA), which originally did not support QoS, however, this article is very relevant to the content of the paper. this work can be treated as a complement to the SCA policy framework to support the specification of functional requirement and QoS expectations.
