Accessing services in a LAN server

The unit has one server and several computers, the server is deployed with ArcGIS Server and MS SQL Server Software, in order to be able to resources on the local location server, need to do:

(1) Need network cable and router to connect a LAN

(2) The following settings are required:

6, all LAN computer operating system must have the correct permission settings.

7, different version Win7 may exist some differences. For example, Home Basic does not have file sharing capabilities.

8, open the necessary services: Start-run-enter services.msc carriage return, open the service settings, select the following service startup type as automatic, and ensure that the service status is started. such as: Server, Workstation, computer Browser, DHCP client, DNS Client, TCP/IP netbioshelper.

Operation-Open LAN sharing

1. Allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares (the system is allowed by default). Group Policy-Computer Configuration-windows Settings-security settings-Local Security policy-security options-Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares. Select as Disabled

2, the local account if the blank password, allow other machines to access the machine (the system is not allowed by default). 3. Windows Firewall: Allow file and Printer Sharing (system default not allowed) Control Panel-windows Firewall-exception-file and printer sharing. Select to select

4 . Guest Account: Enabled. Control Panel-user account-guest Guest account. Select to enable

I have set up the server and my computer as follows.
