Access's application in adjusting wages

as a person engaged in personnel and labour work, it is a time-consuming and laborious task to fill out hundreds of salary approval forms for each adjustment of salary, and sometimes some mistakes will inevitably occur. If you can get the computer to do the work, it will not greatly improve the efficiency. Because I use access to manage the worker database, this functionality is successfully implemented through access and word. The following is an example of the 1999-year public institution adjusting the staff wage standard to describe the steps to achieve this function.

1, open Word 2000, the "file" Drop-down menu, "New" Command, Pop-up "new" dialog box. Select the Standard tab, select Blank Document, select Templates in the new file type, and click  to determine .

2, in accordance with the "1999 public institutions staff adjusted salary standard approval form" format, draw a table and enter the corresponding text content, save, exit.

3, open Access "2000", load the database, with the previous existing data tables and queries based on a new query, which contains the various content required in the Payroll approval form (an increase in the amount of an item by automatic calculation).

4. To perform the merge with MS Word in the Office Links submenu of the Tools Drop-down menu, open the Microsoft Word Mail Merge Wizard, select link databases to Microsoft Word documents, click  to determine , Select the approval table file that you created in step 2nd.

5, when Word 2000 is turned on, move the cursor to the cell where you want to insert the merge field, click the Insert Merge Field command in the toolbar, and then insert each cell by selecting the appropriate content.

6, press the "View merge Data" button on the toolbar, you can see the information on the adjustment of wages in the table  see figure . Click the arrows to the right of the view Merge data button to view the Shang of different employees.

7, the following can be adjusted wages of workers "approval form" a sheet of print out, stamped with the official seal can be loaded into the file. is not convenient for a lot.
