A CPU microcode file that is added to the BIOS with CPUID 067A. (reproduce extract operation below) Download: HTTP://BLOG.ICH8.COM/FILE/58

*cbrom does not support the x64 system, with 32-bit Win7 or XP operation, here is XP.
Other Notes:
The Cbrom file is placed in the D:\bios\c folder.
The BIOS file to be extracted is named Diy.bin
The BIOS file to be modified is named Ga.bin

1. View CPU microcode
Unzip the CBROM196CN into the C folder and place the BIOS file containing the CPU microcode to be extracted together in the C folder.
Run the command line, go to the C folder to execute CBROM196CNDIY.BIN/D, we will see the microcode file (SP) Ncpucode We want to extract, we will extract it.

2. Extracting CPU Microcode
Create a new Notepad file in the C folder and name it ncpucode.bin. This is a 0-byte file.
Enter CBROM196CN Diy.bin/nc_cpucode Ncpucode. BIN, this time the CPU microcode is written to this 0-byte file.

3. Write the CPU microcode file to the BIOS file that you want to modify
First, be sure to change the Ncpucode.bin file in the C folder to read-only.
Next, type CBROM196CN ga.bin/nc_cpucode ncpucode. BIN to complete the write operation.
Note: If the Write CPU microcode is larger than the remaining compressed code space, write failures will occur. Be sure to note the size of the microcode file that is written!

Change to read-only file

Write operations

4. Verify that the BIOS file is written
Also type the same command as the view BIOS file for step 1 CBROM196CN ga.bin/d, at which point we see that the Ncpucode.bin has been written and the SLOT1 is more than 067A.
