One, ready lights and ribbon lights flashing at the same time

There are several possible causes:

1, set for the heat-sensitive way to print

If you are printing a heat-sensitive paper (no need to install a ribbon), you need to set the printer to thermal mode, please turn off the printer first, the DIP switch on the back of the Machine 1th dial to on the state (Figure 1), and then the printer power can be turned on the printer panel after the ribbon lights will be extinguished.

2. Whether the ribbon is out of use

If you are finished, please replace the new ribbon.

3, the carbon tape is not installed correctly

Please refer to the Quick Installation Guide manual for proper installation of the Carbon belt adapter pipe.

4, carbon belt transmission failure

1. The supply side transmission is not smooth or can not drive at all. Please replace the supply end torsion spring or add lubricating oil to the torsion spring sleeve. This fault needs to be handled by the technician.

2. The ribbon is too narrow or smaller than the width of the label paper. Carbon belt transmission is the carbon tape and label paper and cots friction, if the ribbon is too narrow or less than the width of the label paper, will cause friction is too small to normal transmission of carbon bands. Please try to choose a ribbon that is larger than the label paper width. It also plays a role in protecting the print head.

3. The carbon belt fitting tube serious wear, causes with the carbon belt core axis internal friction is too small, cannot drive the carbon belt normally. Please replace the new Carbon band Adapter pipe or try to attach the outer material on the carbon belt adapter pipe to increase the friction between the carbon belt adapter and the carbon belt shaft inner core.

5. Sensor failure

If the above methods do not solve the problem, for the carbon belt turntable dirty or sensor damage to the hardware failure, please contact you to purchase the agent of the machine.

Second, ready light flashing

If you encounter ready lights flashing when you print, there are two possible scenarios:

1, the cutter or the paper stripping device setup Error

In this case, the printer can usually print a label each time, a label printed after the printer stopped, ready light began flashing. Please check if the 3rd dip switch on the back of the printer is dialed on, please dial it back off and reboot the printer to troubleshoot.

2. Communication failure

After the print task is sent, the ready light begins to blink, and the content is not printed, which is a communication failure.

1. Print communication line failure, please replace the print communication line test.

2. Computer interface communication error or send error signal. Please reinstall the driver and try to reboot the computer and replace the computer test.

3. If the above (1), (2) step operation is invalid, it is likely that the printer data interface fails, please contact the dealer for repair.

Note: If the machine is used for a long time, you can use the print printer's built-in fonts to determine the printer hardware problem.

Third, ready lights and media lights flashing at the same time--paper error

If you encounter an error with the ready and media lights flashing at the same time as you print, this indicates that your printer has not successfully detected your label paper, possibly because:

1, the label paper run out

Please replace the new label and press Cancel or the feed key to resume printing after replacing.

2, paper type is continuous

If you are using a continuous label (such as Figure 1 in the washing mark), you do not need to do the paper test operation, the paper will be the error (label no gap). You only need to select the appropriate paper type in the drive as a continuous paper.

The operation of the continuous paper in the drive is as follows: After editing the label template in the Bartender software, click Print.

, then click the "Properties" button, select the "Volume" tab in the Pop-up Preferences dialog box, locate the media type and set it to: continuous paper

Tip: When you are finished setting, save the label again so that the settings are lost when you open the label again.

3, the label paper installation error

Please reinstall the label against the steps in the Quick installation guide that comes with random.

4, does not carry out the test paper operation

If you are using a spacing or tagged label, the paper steps are essential. Use the following procedure to calibrate your labels:

①. In standby, press the Cancel key and hold it for 4 seconds, and 3 LEDs will blink at the same time;

②. Immediately release the Cancel key and click the Feed button, the machine automatically walk paper (about 20 centimeters);

③.3 led led to stop flashing after the return to normal state, operation completed.

For a row of multiple-column labels, note the position of the paper detector, as shown in Figure 3:

5, the label does not meet the requirements

Label sensor for photoelectric sensor components, by receiving from the label paper through or reflected back signal to identify the label, too thick or darker color of the label substrate may affect the printer to the label paper Detection.

If the back has a printed perforated tag, it is recommended to use a penetrating sensor for detection. Turn the back dip switch 5th to ON, as shown in Figure 4, and then restart the printer power.

5, Paper sensor dirty

Please clean the paper sensor with anhydrous alcohol and then perform the paper test operation.

Note: Before cleaning the sensor, please turn off the power of the printer before cleaning it before the printhead cools.
