According to the data recently released by Internet analytics company Websidestory, Google's leading edge in the Internet search market is still unshakable and will continue to expand.
As of the beginning of June this year, Google's market share in the U.S. online search market exceeded 50% for the first time, reaching its highest point in history. According to data, Google has 52% market share in the U.S. Internet search market, more than twice that of Yahoo, and more than four times that of Microsoft MSN. In the Internet search market of other countries, Google's leading edge is even more obvious. For example, Google occupies nearly 3/4 of the UK's Internet search market and 91% of the market in Germany.
On Monday, Google's share price broke the 300 billion dollar mark for the first time. Google's share price closed at $305.19 at noon Tuesday. Since its IPO in August 2004, Google's share price has risen to more than three times the issue price.
