Achieve wireless Internet sharing between two laptops
I. Operation Conditions:
Two laptops (A and B both use the XP system) have wireless NICs;
One of them can access the Internet through a local connection, including dialing through the web page (different from dialing through broadband or ADSL );
Both Computers have enabled wireless network connection and can be searched and connected to the network.
Ii. Train of Thought Analysis:
(1) first use a wireless network card to achieve point-to-point connection between two laptops;
(2) then share the local connection to the wireless connection through a computer A (in this case, the original IP address of the wireless connection will be removed and automatically set:
IP: 192.168.0.1 subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 );
(3) Finally, configure the IP address of computer B (set the IP address of computer B to the same CIDR block as computer A, and set the gateway and DNS server to the IP address of computer ).
(4) test.
3. Procedure:
(1) achieve wireless connection between the two computers: ① ② ③ ⑤ ⑥ 72.16.pdf
① Enable "network neighbor-attribute", and then "wireless network connection-attribute ":
Figure 1
② Select the "wireless network configuration" tab and click "advanced" to open the "advanced" window:
Figure 2
③ Select "computer to computer only (specific)" in "network to be accessed", and click "close" to confirm the selection (do not close the "Wireless Network Connection Properties" window first );
④ On the "wireless network configuration" tab, click the "add" button and press 3 to modify it. Then, click "OK" to complete the operation;
Figure 3
⑤ In the following pop-up window, select "continue". The added network is successfully displayed. Click "OK" to complete the operation:

Figure 5
⑥ Set the IP addresses for wireless network connection on the computer A and B respectively (this is critical. The IP addresses of the two computers must be in the same network segment, but different settings are not described ):
Computer A: Computer B:
IP: 192.168.0.1 IP: 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
7. When you view the wireless network connection on two computers, you should be able to see the network "test1". Select and connect to the network;
The two computers can connect to the "test1" network for communication at the same time;
Finally, test: At this time, computer A and B can communicate normally, but computer B cannot access the Internet.
(2) set the Shared Server (for example, computer A): ① ③ ④ ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑨
① Open "local connection-properties" and select the "advanced" tab:
Figure 6
② "Allow other network users to pass through ......", In "Home Network Connection", select the "wireless network connection" option to complete the settings;
Figure 7
③ Click "yes" in the pop-up window ";
④ We can see that the shared server settings are complete:
(3) set a shared client (such as computer B ):
Set the IP address of computer B as follows:
IP: 192.168.0. * (* 2 ~ 224, same network as computer)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (IP address of computer)
Preferred DNS: 192.168.0.1 (IP address of computer)
(4) final test:
At this time, computer A and computer B should be able to access the Internet normally.
Note: computer A and B communicate through local connection, and a can access the internet. Computer A shares the broadband connection with local connection to enable computer B to access the Internet; the operation principle is the same as that in this experiment.
