Presumably those friends who once installed the fcitx Input Method in firefox in Ubuntu have encountered this problem when converting to the SCIM Input Method: After fcitx is uninstalled, after SCIM is installed, firefox cannot activate the input method because fcitx is in/etc/X11/Xsession. d. A new file named 95 xinput is added. The file content is: exportXMODIFIERS = @ im = fcitx; e.
Presumably those friends who once installed the fcitx Input Method in firefox in Ubuntu have encountered such problems when converting to the SCIM input method:
After fcitx is uninstalled, firefox cannot activate the input method after SCIM is installed. The reason is that the fcitx input method is in/etc/X11/Xsession. d. A new file named 95 xinput is added. The file content is:
Export XMODIFIERS = @ im = fcitx; export GTK_IM_MODULE = fcitx; export QT_IM_MODULE = "fcitx ";
Export XIM = fcitx; fcitx
We can see that this file sets the fcitx input method as the default input method. After fcitx is uninstalled, the configuration file is not deleted, so we can delete it and restart it.
