The Active Directory series has actually ended, but recently I found the SYSVOL and Netlogon two shared folders suddenly lost in an accidental experimental environment, thinking that this was due to some misoperation, so it's time to finish up the series here.
Describe the whole process of what happened:
I set up a two-site parent-child domain environment, where the Beijing site is a root dc,n1.net.com, Shanghai site has a second root dc,n2.net.com, but also a subdomain dc,n3.net.com. As shown in the following illustration:
After I finished the related experiment of the site, intentionally the two DCs of Shanghai site are all off-line, and then the Beijing site DC, a user jack and an OU named HR (which has a few users) deleted, of course, the ad has been backed up, and the backup contains users jack, I used the command repadmin /showmeta cn=jack,ou=sails,dc=net,dc=com >c:\jack.txt and Repadmin/showmeta ou=hr,dc=net,dc=com >c:\ HR.txt, save the version information of Jack's user-related attributes and the corresponding version of the OU, and then I reboot the DC and press F8 to enter the directory Restore mode to verify the change in the user and OU versions of "authoritative restore".
After the "Directory Recovery Model", the first normal restore, and then the authorization to restore, and then restart the DC, after the successful login (found a bit slow, and did not care), and then I entered the cmd, the first DC on the Shanghai site to delete information, input ntdsutil, roughly the following operations:
Ntdsutil
: Meta Clea
: Conn
: Con to server n1.net.com
: Quit
: Sele oper Target
:.... After omitting, you can refer to my previous Active Directory series for a detailed description of this command.
