In the previous section we installed the Active Directory through Method 1, and this section focuses on checking and scheduling after installation, and this section is connected to the previous section.
The experimental environment in this section:
1, domain controller DC1, which is the domain controller we installed in the previous section.
2, client Client1, a client with an XP system installed and a SP2 patch.
Check Active Directory for normal
First, check by domain controller
First start domain controller DC1, login interface as shown below, I enter password login to contoso.com domain.
If a successful login indicates that our domain controller is working, it is not possible to indicate that the Active Directory has been completely installed successfully. So we also need to check the following on the domain controller:

The Active Directory database files are installed by default in the C:\WINDOWS\NTDS folder, which contains 7 files, where Ntds.dit is the Active Directory database file, and. log is the file. The Sysvol folder is installed by default: C:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL, which has 4 folders, where the SYSVOL is a shared folder and a shared folder scripts, which is inside the domain contoso.com folder.
