Add a link to the background image in CSS

Source: Internet

When creating a page, sometimes it is inevitable to make the image into a background, but you want to add a link, you can use a positive solution.

# Logo {width: 249px; Height: 62px; Background-image: URL (images/logo.gif );}

# Logo a {display: block; width: 249px; Height: 62px; cursor: hand ;}

Add the following to <HTML>:Code

<Div id = "logo"> <a href = "http://www.cctv.com"> </a>

You can use IE to browse images with hyperlinks, with a mouse and a small hand. The effect is the same in Dreamweaver.

Note: Display: block must be added when a hyperlink is added to the background, and its width and height must be defined according to the size of the logo image. In this way, the desired effect can be achieved.

I don't know if I have explained this. I am not good at words, but I am patient. I hope you will have the same benefits as me.
