Add a startup service in Linux

Source: Internet
Author: User

First, add the script file describing the service to/etc/init. d. I need to start the svn service at startup, so my script file is SVN:

#! /Bin/bash
# Chkconfig: 35 81 71
# Description: SVN service in init. d
Svnserve -- daemon -- root =/SVN/repos -- listen-Port = 3690

The chkconfig format is: chkconfig: [runlevel] [start number] [stop number].

Then, use chkconfig to add the daemon to the service list:

Chkconfig -- add SVN

Chkconfig SVN on

After chkconfig -- list SVN, the status of the opened service in 35 is on.

Find/etc/rc. d/-type L | grep SVN | sort

List link files of different levels.

Then, run chmod 755 SVN and change the svn script to executable.

In this case, OK.

You can use chkconfig -- del SVN to delete the service.

Then RM/etc/init. d/SVN.

I forgot to add chkconfig xxx_service on.
