Add auto-increment columns similar to SQL Server in Oracle

First create auto-increment index ....

Create sequence archive_seq

Minvalue 1
Max value 99999999999999
Start with 1
Increment by 1
Cache 20
Order;

Next... create a trigger for each table

Create or replace trigger archive_tg

Before insert on archive for each row
Begin
Select archive_seq.nextval into: New. daid from dual;
End;

 

Archive_tg: trigger name.

Archive: Table name.

New. daid: daid is the primary key of the table and the field name to be added.

OK... the creation is successful !!!
