Add EPEL to CentOS
If it is difficult to install hadoop on centos, it is always wrong to download and install hadoop on your own. Find the following solution: epel
0. Install the yum priority plug-in
yum install yum-priorities
1. epel Introduction
rpm -Uvh http://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/fedora/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpmrpm -Uvh http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm
Modify the above URL according to the actual situation.
2. Check whether the installation is successful.
rpm -q epel-release
3. Import key:
rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL-6
4. Modify the/etc/yum. repos. d/epel. repo file and add an attribute priority = 11 at the end of [epel ].
vi /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo
It means that yum first goes to the official site for source check, and the official site does not go to the epel site for source check.
5. Rebuild Cache
yum makecache
