We all know that Expression Web 4 is a software used to compile Web scripts. The language types include HTML, ASP, PHP, and CSS, but it does not support HTML5. As shown in, the <canvas> tag in HTML5 cannot be intelligently sensed, which makes development very troublesome. This article describes how to add HTML5 tag support for it. First, download the HTML5 template plug-in to get a file named "HTML5Schema. xadd.
Install HTML 5 Schema
Select "Add-Ins..." in the "Tools" menu to Add the plug-in option.
In the "Manage Add-ins" window, click "Install..." and select the HTML5Schema. xadd template you just downloaded.
The software will ask whether to start the newly installed plug-in and click "Yes.
If the installation is successful, the "HTML 5 Schema Configuration" content will be displayed in the "Manage Add-ins" window, and click "OK" to complete the operation.
After the template is installed, you can see the "HTML 5" option in the toolbar.
Enable HTML 5 Schema
After the installation is successful, we need to start HTML 5 template support, close the current Expression Blend 4 program, and restart it in administrator mode. Click the HTML5 option in the toolbar to enable or disable the HTML 5 Schema.
If you want future programs to support the HTML 5 tag format by default, select "Page Editor Options..." in the "Tools" list ...".
In the "Authoring" tab, set "Doctype and Secondary Schema" to "HTML 5 ".
Finally, let's create an HTML file. Now the <canvas> tag is supported.
