Add or delete route table entries in centos

First, open the terminal and enter route-e in the terminal to display the current route table of the host.


If you want to add a route table entry whose destination network is 10.0.2.0/24 and whose next hop IP address (GATEWAY) is 10.0.1.1, enter: route add-net 10.0.2.0 netmask limit 255.0 gw 10.0.1.1. Press enter to add route table entries. After that, you can enter route-e to check whether the route entry is successfully added.


If you want to delete the route table entry you just added, enter route del-net 10.0.2.0 netmask route 255.255.0 in the terminal, press enter, and enter route-e to check whether the deletion is successful.
