Add Quartus simulation library to Modelsim

  1. Find the ModelSim. ini file under the Modelsim installation directory.

 

  1. Remove the read-only attribute of ModelSim. ini.

 

  1. Open the Quartus software. Select launch simulation library compiler.

  1. Select the simulation tool ModelSim.

  1. Set the Modelsim path.

  1. Select the desired device.

  1. Select the library language.

  1. Select an appropriate output path.

  1. Start compilation.

  1. After compilation, modify the attributes of the ModelSim. ini file to read-only.
