Open terminal to start the root account: sudo passwd-u root

Enter the current user's password (that is, you set the password for your account)

And then

To set a password for the root account: sudo passwd root

Set root password, enter two times

and then

Test root account: Su-

Enter the root password to enter the root terminal

Root account is successfully opened, exit the root account

3: Now start setting up the root account, reopen the terminal, under your own account, and then

Input sudo gedit/usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/50-ubuntu.conf

Enter the above sentence, open the following text directly, and then

Then save click Save and then close.

After closing, go back to the terminal window and enter: sudo passwd root return;
