Add your own PATH in PATH for Linux

You can use several methods to add your own PATH to the PATH. This article describes how to modify the/etc/profile file:

Step 1: Open the profile file using the command

Vim/etc/profile

Add the following at the end of the file:

PATH = $ PATH: xxxxxxx;
Export PATH

Xxxxxx is the directory path you need to add

Step 2: Enter the following command to make the modification take effect immediately. Otherwise, reboot is required.

Source/etc/profile

You can add your directory PATH to the PATH by modifying the preceding two steps.
