Adding a NAS procedure using Unisphere

The approximate process for adding NAS is as follows:

1, through the SPA/SPB management IP into the Unispthere GUI

2, create the network of Data Mover (head)

System>network>interface, Dot creat

Fill in the DM name, the NAS's device name, the IP and mask of the NAS header.

2.1, into the DM inside ping host server IP see if the

SYSTEM>DATAMOVERS>[DM Name]>network

Ping the host server IP

3, configuring the NAS's file system

STORAGE>FILESYSTEM>[DM name] Under

Point creat, content such as:

4, open Hard/soft limit

STORAGE>FILESYSTEM>[DM name], click Tree Quota, then select the file system name that you added in the previous step, right-properties>quota settings, [Enforce Hard limit] tick.

5, configuring the tree quota

STORAGE>FILESYSTEM>[DM Name]>tree Quota

Click Creat, enter the file system name above, fill in a path, enter hard and soft warning capacity.

6. See if the quota configuration is correct

SYSTEM>DATAMOVER>[DM name]>filesystem Quota>tree, see if the size of the tree quota is the same as in the previous step.

7, configuring the schedule of Check Point (Savvol)

Under Replicas>checkpoint, click Creat.

Add schedule Name (several), backup frequency, backup start time and end time. In fact, this checkpoint is Savvol automatic backup.

7.1, create a check point

Under Replicas>checkpoint, click Creat, enter the name of the pool and the capacity of checkpoint, maximum capacity.

8, configuring NFS

SHARING>NFS>[DM name]>nfs export, click creat. Enter the IP of the host and a shared path (indeterminate)
