1, the operating system must support the current domain functional level. If the domain level is Server 2008, the system for the additional DCs must be Server 2008 and later.

2, the installer must have domain administrator privileges.

3,IP address, DNS configuration is correct. (DNS usually points to the first DC)

4, ensure network connectivity.

2, add another computer (DC02) to the current domain

3. Install Active Directory Domain Services on this computer

Log in with the Domain Administrator account (ys.com\administrator), run "Dcpromo" after logging in, open the "Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard" and click "Next".

Read the operating system Compatibility instructions and click "Next".

Unlike installing a new DC, select existing forest-add a domain controller to an existing domain and click Next.

Four, the considerations of unloading DCs.

1, if there are other domain controllers in the domain, the domain controller is demoted to a member controller.

2, if the domain controller is the last domain controller in the domain, the domain controller is demoted to a standalone server.

3, if the domain controller is the global catalog role, before uninstalling, make sure that there are other domain controllers that assume the global catalog role, or the user's logon actions will be affected.

4, can not directly shut down or off the network, you need to use the DCPROMO command uninstall.

Five, uninstall the domain controller method.

1. Log on to the domain controller using administrator. Enter "Dcpromo" in the Run

2, select whether to delete in the "delete domain" interface.
