As shown in the following illustration, I am prompted to create an ADSL connection, which may be due to insufficient memory or insufficient disk space
Method One:
1. Click Start, and then click Run;
2. Type cmd.exe, and then click OK;
3. Type the following lines, and then press ENTER after you type each line. When the RegSvr32 dialog box appears after each command is executed, click OK.
regsvr32 netshell.dll
regsvr32 netcfgx.dll
regsvr32 netman.dll
4. Restart the computer.
Method Two:
Tip: There is a risk of modifying the registry, please be careful to operate under the guidance of a professional person.
1. Click Start, and then click Run;
2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK;
3. Locate and click the following registry key:
Hkey_current_user/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/telephony/cards
4. In the right pane of the Registry Editor window, click NextID;
5. On the Edit menu, click Delete;
6. When prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes;
7. On the File menu, click Exit to exit the Registry Editor.
8. Restart the computer.
9. Start the New Connection Wizard, and then create a new dial-up modem connection or a PPPoE connection.
