recover the Ubuntu startup Item in Vista or Windows 7 (Ubuntu installed with wubi)
Windows 7 was recently reinstalled (similar to Vista ), I don't want to let the previously installed Ubuntu have no startup items, and Windows 7 (Vista is the same) has no boot. INI file editing method, Because ubuntu was installed in Windows with wubi!
restoration method:
1. install wubidr and wubidr In the Ubuntu-> winboot folder. copy two MBR files to the C-drive root directory
2. open "run" in the attachment as Administrator
run c in the command line: /Windows/system32> after bcdedit/create/D "ubuntu"/Application bootsector
succeeds (if it is not run as administrator, it may be rejected) the following figure shows the ID of a serial number:
{B8779cc7-c9b2-11de-908b-c8405850ad4a}
3. Copy the ID in {}, such as: b8779cc7-c9b2-11de-908b-c8405850ad4a
4. Enter the following command (Note: Replace the ID in {} with the ID obtained in step 1)
Bcdedit/set {b8779cc7-c9b2-11de-908b-c8405850ad4a} device partition = C:
Bcdedit/set {b8779cc7-c9b2-11de-908b-c8405850ad4a} path/wubildr. MBR
Bcdedit/set {b8779cc7-c9b2-11de-908b-c8405850ad4a} description "Ubuntu Linux"
Bcdedit/displayorder {b8779cc7-c9b2-11de-908b-c8405850ad4a}/addlast
If everything succeeds, the Ubuntu Linux option will appear after the restart.
