After IE10 is installed in Windows 7, the system prompts you to update and install the program version. Solution:

An incorrect version of the Internet Explorer installer is prompted when the Internet Explorer 10 browser is installed.

Fault symptom:

A dialog box is displayed when the Windows 7 operating system installs the IE 10 browser, prompting the incorrect version of the Ieternet Explorer installer.

Cause analysis:

The reason for this prompt is that the downloaded IE10 language version is inconsistent with the system language version. This is often found on computers purchased outside China, because the language version initially installed in the system may be in English or other languages, the Chinese language pack will be installed later. Therefore, when installing the IE 10 browser, you must first confirm the computer's Win7 language version.

Solution:

Download the Internet Explorer 10 installation package in the corresponding language from the official website of Microsoft. After the installation is complete, download the Internet Explorer 10 simplified Chinese language package.

When you install IE10, the system prompts Internte Explorer to be updated before installation.

Fault symptom:

A dialog box will pop up when installing the IE 10 browser on Windows 7, prompting that Internet Exolorer needs to be updated before installation, as shown in the figure below:

Cause analysis:

In this case, the patch is not installed when the IE 10 browser is updated.

Solution:

We can download and install the following patches on the Microsoft official website: KB2729094, KB2731771, KB2533623, KB2670838, and KB2786081, and then restart the computer to reinstall IE 10.
