After my pureftp is installed, I cannot connect to it in passive mode. Why? -- Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information. For details, refer to the following section. I have installed pureftp first.

#./Configure -- prefix =/usr/local/pureftpd -- with-everything -- with-language = simplified-chinese
# Make install-strip
# Groupadd ftpgroup
# Useradd-g ftpgroup-d/dev/null
# Pure-pw useradd joe-u ftpuser-d/home/ftpusers/joe-m
#/Usr/local/sbin/pure-ftpd-A-E-l puredb:/etc/pureftpd. pdb-p 40000: 50000-R &


Then connect to another windows host with flashfxp and find that the list cannot be read in passive mode.

Error: Data Socket error: Connection Failed

However, if you change to the active mode, everything works normally.

How can I configure or install the service to allow access in passive mode ????

By default, pureftp uses the passive mode. Why ???
