The window was automatically upgraded last night. The restart prompt is: "iertutil. dll is not found, so this applicationProgramIt may be fixed to enable re-installation ", which is caused by IE 7 to IE 8 RC1, my God!

Then you cannot enter the desktop (XP ).

Solution:

 

  • Download an iertutil. dll file from the Internet on another computer and install it on the USB flash drive.
  • Insert the USB flash drive into your computer and press CTRL + ALT + DEL to run the task manager. Click file = new task = browse = my computer.
  • In this case, you will see your USB flash drive, find iertutil. dll, right-click it, and copy it to c: \ windows \ system32.
  • Shut down your browser and navigate to the folder to create a new task, and then enter "explorexplorer.exe", OK!
  • Run: regsvr32 iertutil
