After win8.1 is upgraded, the laptop or tablet may be choppy.
A few days ago, I discovered the upgrade of Windows pushed by the App Store.

If no push is found in the App Store, press win + R on the traditional desktop, enter the wsreset command, and press enter to clear the cache of the app store, after that, the app store will be automatically restarted and the push will be displayed.

After the upgrade, I found that my tablet was shut down after the power was switched out. Later I checked the task manager and found that the CPU frequency was locked at 0.77 GHz. So it causes choppy.

Solution:

 


I personally think it is better to select the Application Specific mode. It is more energy-saving. Select Disable.

Finally, click OK.
