After the Windows 7 system is reinstalled, the menu of the Ubuntu 11.10 System Startup menu is unavailable. After the system is started, the system enters the Windows system. The repair procedure is as follows:
1. Start the Ubuntu system CD, enter the UBUNTU trial version, open the command terminal, or use the hard disk installation method (Baidu dual hard disk to install ubuntu), enter the hard disk installation interface, and then directly start the client, follow these steps.
2. Terminal input: sudo-I
3. Enter fdisk-l on the terminal. Note: This command is used to check the disk where Linux is located, and my disk is/dve/sda5, which determines the next command.
4. Terminal input: mount/dev/sda5/mnt
5. Enter grub-install -- root-directory =/mnt/dev/sda.
6. The terminal displays Installation finished. No error reported.
7. Terminal input: umount/dev/sda5
8. Restart Ubuntu.
