AIX add can Telnet remote Connection account method

Add an account in AIX can use the command Mkuser and Smit two ways, here describes the Smit way

1. Log in to AIX using the root account

2. Input Smitty User

3. Select Add a User

4, enter "User Name" "HOME directory" Press ENTER to create the user

Enter #finger test to view user creation

5. Create a password for the newly created user

6, this time the user is not authorized to log in, you need to create remote login permissions to the account

The Setup method is to edit the Rlogin property in the/etc/security/user configuration file, the Rlogin property is whether the setting allows users to log on remotely, including Rlogin and Telnet, Other remote logins, such as SSH, are not included. Other properties can be set together.

At this point a remote login can be created, the permissions of this account is still very limited, other permissions need to be added as needed.
