The role of the algorithm in the interview does not have to say, the algorithm also allows people to write code when more confident, even if you do not use a particular algorithm or data structure, its potential impact is very large. That's why many interviewers like to ask algorithms because interviewing is a very random process, and algorithms are the most objective way to measure a person's ability.
