Management terminals apply to include but are not limited to the following scenarios:

Instance boot speed is slow, such as start self test, you can view progress through management terminal;

Because of an internal setting error in the instance, the software remote connection cannot be used, for example, a firewall is turned on by a misoperation, and you can shut down the firewall after logging in through the admin terminal.

Application consumption cpu/bandwidth is high, resulting in the inability to connect remotely (for example, by the broiler, process cpu/bandwidth run full), you can through the management terminal into the login to end the exception process.

Logon steps

Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.

Find the instance to which you want to connect.

Click on the right side for more > Connection Management terminals .

The first use prompts for a connection password. This prompt appears only once, and you will need to enter the password each time you log on, so be sure to write down the password.

If you want to change to a familiar password, or forget the password, click on the upper right corner of the change management terminal password to modify.

Click the connection management terminal for the send remote command in the upper-left corner. Enter the connection password.

If you are logged on as a Linux instance, enter the username root and password. The password is the password that you set when you created the instance.

Linux instance supports CTRL+ALT+F1-F10 shortcut key switch, can switch different terminals for different operation.

If a black screen appears because the Linux instance is dormant, click any key on the keyboard to wake up.

If the login is a Windows instance, you can see the login interface for the Windows Server instance by sending a remote command ctrl+alt+delete in the admin terminal interface. Enter a username and password to log in.

Copy Long command

For Linux instances, if you want to enter a longer text or download a link, you can enter the function by copying the command.

When you enter the management terminal, click the button in the top right corner to copy the command .

When you enter a specific command, click OK and the command is copied to the Linux command line interface.

Modify the password for the management terminal

Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.

Find the instance to which you want to connect.

Click on the right side for more > Connection Management terminals .

If you forget your password, click the Modify management terminal password in the upper right corner.

Enter the password you want to set. The password limit length is 6 digits, supports numbers and uppercase and lowercase letters, and does not support special characters.

After modification, the instance must be restarted on the console, and the password will not take effect. The server internal reboot is not valid.
