Picasa the inability to burn a CD may be caused by a failure of the Picasa CD driver when integrated into Windows. Please reinstall Picasa to see if it solves the problem.
Note: Reinstalling Picasa does not solve the problem and requires uninstalling the software first.
Uninstall PICASA
You can now uninstall Picasa by using one of the following two methods:
Picasa Uninstall Program:
1. Click "Start".
2. Click All Programs.
3. Highlight "Picasa".
4. Click Uninstall Picasa.
Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel:
1. Click "Start" > "Control Panel".
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select "Picasa" in the list of programs.
4. Click Add/Remove.
When you uninstall Picasa, you will be asked if you want to uninstall the Picasa database. When you first try to reinstall Picasa, save your database to preserve any changes you have made using Picasa.
Reinstall PICASA
After reinstalling the Picasa, make sure to restart the computer before you burn the CD again. This allows the CD burning driver to be integrated into your system.
