Allow Yum to keep downloaded RPM packages

Source: Internet
Author: User

I believe everyone has used Yum to install the RPM package, but the downloaded RPM package will not be saved locally, how can the system automatically save the downloaded RPM package? For later reinstallation or upgrade use.

Actually very simple, modify the configuration file/etc/yum.conf: vim/etc/yum.conf

Open the file after the beginning of the following changes;

[Main]

cachedir=/home/yumcache/rpm///Place a directory to download RPM packages, you can modify the location you want to place//

Keepcache=1//value of 0 means that the downloaded RPM package is not saved and changed to 1

Allow Yum to keep downloaded RPM packages
