Installation Method: (proven by actual tests, perfect installation)

1. decompress the alphacontrols 9.05 file to your selected directory. Otherwise, the temporary directory control will not be available if you accidentally delete it.

2. Specify the alphacontrols directory path to tools> Options> environment Options> Delphi Options> library path.

3. Select "file"-> "open" and select "acntdelphixe6_r.dpk" (select your ide version). Right-click acntdelphixe6_r.bpl and choose "compile ".

　

4. Select "file"-> "open" and select "acntdelphixe6.dpk" (select the version of your ide). Right-click acntdelphixe6.bpl and choose install

After the installation is complete, restart the software. The Delphi Component panel has three more component pages: alphastandard, alphaadditional, and alphatools. The components on the three components pages overwrite the components in the original standard, additional, Win32, system, and dialogs. Using these components has a skin effect. Drag the three components to the front to facilitate use.

1. First, you must place the first component (tsskinmanager) on the alphatools component page on the Delphi design form.

2. Attribute 1 Required for the alphatools component: skindirectory

Set the path to skins in the installation directory of alphacontrols (Multiple skin folders may exist during installation, such as skins, skins1... you can put the files in these folders in the skins folder, because they are all skin files)

3. Attribute 2 required for the alphatools component: internalskins

In the displayed dialog box, select the desired skin (with a preview effect) and add multiple skins, by selecting multiple skins, you can change the skin by assigning values to the skinname attribute. Of course, multiple selections will increase the program size. Please use them as needed. So this attribute must be set.

4. Attribute 3 required for the alphatools component: skinname

The skinname property drop-down list contains all skin files in the skins folder under the installation directory, but you should select the skin added in the internalskins attribute in the previous step. Otherwise, the skin effect is still invisible on others' computers. In the skin displayed in the skinname property drop-down list, the skin with the name (internal) is added to the internalskins property. You can choose from it.

 

By setting the three attributes of a component, you can have a dazzling skin effect. Of course, you can try other settings by yourself. The above four steps are the simplest method to use. I will summarize them one night later. I am a newbie. I just learned delphi. If I have any mistakes, I don't want to be surprised.

The latest and most complete skin package is downloaded later. There are 106 sets of skin, which is sufficient for general use.

In addition, alphacontrols also comes with a skin preparation program. In the askineditor folder of the installation directory, if the existing skin cannot meet your requirements, use DIY, I have not studied this yet. For a cainiao like me, these 106 + skins are enough early, and I think alphacontrols is easier to use, easier to use, and more elegant than vclskin.
