About hiding folders

1. Shake the folder into a WAV file

Create a new folder, put the file to be hidden in the folder, and rename the folder as: folder. Double-click it. Instead of entering the folder, you can start the "Media Player". The folder seems to have become a sound file, but it prompts that the file cannot be opened. Others will think it is a damaged sound file. To open it, you can directly select and right-click the file (in fact, it is a folder, it is really like a file) and select "open.

2. Change the folder to "Network Neighbor"

Although the above method is good, right-clicking and selecting "open" will make your secret visible. Is there a better way? The folder to be hidden is renamed as: Network Neighbor. {208d2c60-3aea-1069-a2d7-08002b30309d}. After you press enter, you will see the familiar "Network Neighbor" icon. Double-click the icon and you will see it again.

In order to pretend to be more clever, it is best to delete the default desktop "Network Neighbor" icon and open "Registry Editor ", find [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/desktop/namespace]. In this case, you can see system icons such as "Network neighbors" and delete them as needed.

In this way, only the "Network neighbors" created by yourself are left on the desktop.

3. Crack the folder that is "easy to accommodate"

It is very simple. As long as WinRAR is installed and right-click the folder that is easy to accommodate, all disguise will be easily identified (see figure 1 ).

Double-click to open any RAR compressed package. In the address bar, locate the parent directory of the pseudo folder (if it is a C:/test folder, locate it to the C root directory ), you will see the pseudofolder in the following file list (see figure 2). Select it and press f2 to remove the identifier after the folder name.

Tips

Some folder hiding software in China uses this principle and can be easily cracked in the same way.

Recognize Class Identifiers

The above method actually uses the File Identifier in windows. Its English name is CLSID, also known as the Class Identifier, which is located under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/classes/CLSID] of the Registry, it is usually composed of 32 hexadecimal numbers. The general format is "{eight-digit-four-digit-twelve-digit}" (see Figure 3 ). When we operate a computer, a command is sent to the system program name, while Windows responds by identifying the File Identifier of the program. Therefore, file identifiers correspond to system programs one by one.

Rename the folder and add ". {645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e}" after the name, excluding the "", which is equivalent to adding the suffix of the recycle bin ...... In this way, the folder icon becomes the recycle bin, and double-click it to open the recycle bin. Clearing the recycle bin does not affect this folder. Why ............ Use WinRAR! In WinRAR, you can see the suffix of the second segment.

Create a new folder and name it {208d2c60-3aea-1069-a2d7-08002b30309d}. Then, you will see that the icon of the folder changes to the file icon of the network neighbor. If you double-click it, the action is not to enter the folder but to actually enter the network neighbor, but if you directly select and right-click the file (actually a folder), select "open. Try it !!
