Alternative Method for blocking Processes

We have mentioned how to end the process in Windows Task Manager. But that's just the conventional method. Now, let's play with the unconventional process blocking method.

1. Block the processes of the other machine

We can use two methods to achieve this purpose. The first is to use remote control programs. Currently, most Trojans can view the processes of the controlled host, and can also remotely end the specified process. This part of content is believed to be very familiar to friends who are interested in system security. Therefore, we will not detail it. The second method is to use the tool dedicated to process termination-custom process killing. After running the program, enter the name of the process to end in the text box (figure 11) (Note: it is the name in the process list, not the application name ), then a file is generated. By activating it on the target machine in some way, you can block the specified process on the target machine.

TIPS:If you need to manage processes on a remote machine frequently, it is better to select a professional tool. Remote Task Manager is a software that allows you to remotely manage system processes (applicable to WinNT machines), just like using Windows Task Manager on a local machine.

2. timed blocking of local processes

After running the program, first select the specification process in the program, for example, "wnb.exe" (strokes), then specify the time after which the process will end in its right-side view, and then click "timed termination" (Figure 12) to exit the program immediately.

3. Block invisible window processes

For some Trojan servers running in the background, we certainly cannot see them on the screen, but if we can obtain hidden invisible windows, we may see the Trojan.

You can directly run the downloaded main program "System View Masters" and click "retrieve invisible window" in its left-side view. Then, the Process List on the right will display the title of all currently running Windows that are not visually displayed on the screen (figure 13 ). Select the suspicious window and click "end this window" in the lower right corner.
