The highly anticipated AMD next-generation Polaris GPU is expected to unveil next month. Fudzilla quoted sources as saying: "Polaris 10, built with the 14nm FinFET process, is intended to replace the current Radeon R9 390 series position. The source is confident that in some cases, the performance of Polaris 10 is even more than the Radeon R9 390, and the benefits will be more impressive than R9 390X. Currently, AMD's R9 390X graphics are priced at around $399, and R9 390 without ' X ' is around $300. After Polaris 10 is launched, AMD should be tuned to $299 below. On the marketing side, AMD should focus on the card's low power consumption and performance per watt. The Polaris 11 is expected to replace the current Radeon 370 position, pointing to Nvidia's GeForce 950 bid.
And Nvidia is busy working on the next generation of Pascal GPUs. The first Pascal-based graphics card was launched last month, but it is not intended for consumer-grade markets. Tesla P100 is a product for high performance Computing (HPC), so you're more likely to see it in the super count.
AMD has recently launched a new website to disclose details of the Polaris architecture, but no more valuable information is currently being released. This address: http://www.linuxprobe.com/amdpolaris10-upcoming-laoke-nvidia/
