An error solution for ORA-600 [504]

The Oracle Database encountered a ORA-600 [504] error.

The error message is as follows:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [504], [0x38006C260], [160], [7], [shared pool], [4], [0], [0x38006C070]

Obviously, this problem is related to the shared pool. The MOS query found that this was a bug in 9.2: Bug 2300743-OERI [504] on "shared pool" latch possible [ID 2300743.8]. The cause of this problem is to apply for the sharing pool LATCH to release the kglf heap.

This issue is related to the sharing pool settings of version 9.2. Therefore, except for version 9.2.0.8, this bug is fixed. In addition to the upgrade, you can also set the implicit parameter _ kghdsidx_count = 1 to disable multiple shared sub-pools.
