An underline is displayed when you move the mouse over the link.

Some web pages do not have Underscores. You can point your mouse to the link to see underscores. In fact, this effect can be achieved using a stacked style sheet (CSS). You do not need to write code to edit the stacked style sheet in Dreamweaver. The specific operation method is as follows:

(1) click the Cascading Style Sheet button in the quick start column (that is, the button that displays "show css styles" with the mouse ), double-click (none) on the pop-up CSS Styles panel );
(2) you can see the pop-up Edit Style Sheet panel and press the New button on the panel;
(3) Click Redefine HTML Tag on the New Style panel to Redefine the HTML Tag, select "a" (hyperlink Tag) in the Tag, and then click "OK;
(4) the pop-up Style dehinition for a dialog box is displayed. In this dialog box, you can set many attributes of the hyperlink. You can set them as needed, but here we mainly want to remove the annoying underline, so we select "none" in the decoration attribute to remove the underline, and then we choose the color: #339966. Press OK to return to the Edit Style Sheet panel;
(5) press the New button on the Edit Style Sheet panel;
(6) click Use CSS Selector on the New Style panel that appears, and then select ": hover "(defines the link attributes when the mouse is over the hyperlink), click OK;
(7) in the pop-up Style dehinition for a: hover dialog box, select "underline" in the decoration attribute to add the underline; then we select the color: # FF3300. Press OK to return to the Edit Style Sheet panel;
(8) click the Don button on the Edit Style Sheet panel. All settings are complete.
