Analog oscilloscope Function Description

oscilloscope function:

(1) Oscilloscope Tubes Operation section

"Power": main power switch and indicator light. By pressing this switch, the LEDs on the left side of the LED are 5 lit, indicating that the power supply is connected.

"Inten": Brightness Adjustment button. Adjusts the brightness of the trajectory or light point.

"Focus": focus Adjustment button. Adjusts the focus of a trajectory or light point.

"Trace ROTATION": trajectory rotation. Adjusts the horizontal trajectory parallel to the tick-mark line.

Display : Displays the waveform of the signal.

(2) Vertical axis operation section

"Volts/div": vertical attenuation button. Adjust the vertical deflection sensitivity from 5mv/div~5v/div to a total of 10 gears.

"ch1x": Channel 1 measured signal input connector. In X-y mode, it is the input side of the × axis.

"ch2y": Channel 2 measured signal input connector. In X-y mode, as the y-axis input.

"VAR" vertical sensitivity knob: fine tuning sensitivity greater than or equal to 1/2.5 indicator value. In the correction (CAL) position, the sensitivity is corrected to the indicated value.

"AC-GND-DC": vertical system input coupling switch. Select the coupling mode of the measured signal into the vertical channel. "AC": AC coupling; "DC": DC coupling; "GND": Grounded.

"POSITION": vertical position adjustment knob. Adjusts the vertical position of the display waveform on the screen.

"alt"/"CHOP": alternating/intermittent selection of keys, double-tracer display, release this key (ALT), Channel 1 and Channel 2 signal alternating display, suitable for the observation frequency of the signal waveform; Press this key (CHOP), Channel 1 and Channel 2 signal intermittent display, It is suitable for signal waveforms with low frequency of observation.

"DC BAL": CH1, CH2 channel DC balance Adjustment knob. When the vertical system input coupling switch is at GND, the vertical attenuation switch is rotated repeatedly between 5mV and 10mV, and the "DC BAL" is adjusted so that the trace remains on the 0 horizontal line without moving.

"Verticalmode": vertical system operating mode switch. CH1: Channel 1 is displayed separately, CH2: Channel 2 is displayed separately, DUAL: Two channels are displayed simultaneously, ADD: shows the algebraic or algebraic difference between Channel 1 and Channel 2 signal (when the signal reverse key "CH2 INV" is pressed for Channel 2).

"CH2 INV": Channel 2 signal reverse button. By pressing this key, Channel 2 and its trigger signal are reversed simultaneously.

(3) Trigger Operation section

"TRIG in": external trigger input terminal. Used to enter an external trigger signal. When this feature is used, the "SOURCE" switch should be set at the ext position.

"source": triggers the source selector switch. "CH1": when the vertical system operating mode switch 14 is set at dual or add, select Channel 1 as the internal trigger signal source; "CH2": when the vertical system operating mode switch 14 is set to dual or add, select Channel 2 as the internal trigger signal source; "Line": Select AC power as the trigger signal source; "EXT": Select the external signal of the "TRIG in" terminal input as the trigger signal source.

"Triggermode": trigger mode selector switch. "Auto": The scan is in free mode when there is no trigger signal input, "NORM" (normal): when there is no trigger signal input, the trace is not displayed on standby; "Tv-v" (TV field): When you want to observe a TV signal; "Tv-h" (TV Line): When you want to observe a line of TV signals.

"SLOPE": Trigger Polarity selection button. Release as "+", trigger on rising edge, press "-", drop edge trigger.

"level": Touch the Power adjustment knob. Displays a synchronized stable waveform and sets the starting point of a waveform. Turn the "+" to the power-up, and move to the "-" rotary-trigger level downward.

"TRIG. ALT ": when the vertical system operating mode switch 14 is set at dual or add, and the trigger source selector switch 24 CH1 or CH2, press this key, the oscilloscope will alternately select CH1 and CH2 as the internal trigger signal source.

(4) Horizontal axis operation section

"Time/div": horizontal scan speed knob. Scanning speed from 0.2μs/div to 0.5s/div a total of 20 files. When set to X-y position, the oscilloscope can work in X-y mode.

"SWP VAR": horizontal scan trimmer knob. Fine-tune the horizontal scan time so that the scan time is corrected to the "Time/div" indicator on the panel. Turn clockwise to exactly the correction (CAL) position.

"x10 MAG": scan expansion switch. Scan speed expands by 10 times times when pressed.

"POSITION": horizontal position adjustment knob. Adjusts the horizontal position of the display waveform on the screen.

(4) Other operating parts

"CAL": The oscilloscope corrects the output end of the signal. A square wave signal with a amplitude of 2Vpp and a frequency of 1kHz is provided to correct the compensation capacitor of 10:1 probe and to detect the vertical and horizontal deflection factor of the oscilloscope.

"GND": the ground terminal of the oscilloscope chassis.
