For more than half a month, I pay more attention to my blog in Baidu rankings. The reason is, of course, I am ready to optimize the Chinese website, and Baidu so far is the largest market share of the Chinese search engine.
Previously because they are doing English websites, so did not pay attention to Baidu and other Chinese search engine. For more than half a month of observation, there are a few small tips to share the discussion with you.

First, Baidu spider extremely active. From the server log file analysis, Baidu Spiders crawl frequency and number are very large. Baidu Spider will visit my blog every day, and crawl at least dozens of pages. My blog only opened less than one months, a limited number of web pages, can be seen Baidu spider activities have been considerable. It seems that the massive crawl is Baidu's strength, any other search engine has no way to compare.

But interestingly, Baidu Chinese page number is not the biggest. In addition, Baidu spider crawl frequency seems to be related to the update of the page. The website that updates every day should attract Baidu spider more frequent visit.

Second, Baidu ranking algorithm seems to pay more attention to the factors inside the page. The importance of external links is not very high compared to Google. My blog is open less than one months, and there are very few external links. But because the structure of the blog itself is relatively optimized, some of the less competitive keywords in Baidu's ranking is not bad.

Third, Baidu ranking algorithm should not be similar to the Google sandbox effect of factors, or the impact of time on the rankings is very weak. My blog's different keywords ranked almost at the same time in the Baidu search results, and no hot keywords appear relatively slow phenomenon.

Four, in order to Baidu search results ranked well, the target keyword should be a complete match in the page. For example, if you want your site to appear in front of users searching for "site optimization," then on your Web site, the four words "website optimization" should appear in full succession, not the "site" appearing in the first paragraph, and "optimization" appearing in the second paragraph.

Five, Baidu ranking algorithm seems to be based on the Web page, less to consider the entire site theme. Linked to the point, this shows that Baidu ranking algorithm is relatively lack of complete semantic analysis.

For example, one of my blogs has the word "wholesale Food website", which is just an example. In Baidu, my blog unexpectedly in the "Food Wholesale website" ranked tenth, a few days later retreated to the second page.

Obviously, my blog has nothing to do with wholesale food. Baidu did not take my whole site's theme into consideration.

Six, Baidu is more sensitive to search engine optimization techniques. Excessive optimization of the page can not be in Baidu search to get a good ranking.

Seven, overall, Baidu optimization rankings compared to the Google rankings, it is relatively simple. As long as your site conforms to the most basic user friendly principles and SEO principles, you should get a pretty good ranking.
