The graduation thesis of an English major undergraduate course is the last examination of the results of the four-year English undergraduate course. It fully reflects the degree to which the students have mastered the vocabulary, grammar, and writing knowledge in the course of four years, able to identify the extent to which students can utilize the knowledge they have learned to expound and handle the case samples, and comprehensively demonstrate the combined use of a certain culture, language, commerce, and other knowledge and writing and scientific research skills. Final papers belong to the scope of research papers, and have specific examples and methods. They are different from ordinary literary creations and cannot be self-developed. In general, the graduation thesis includes three departments: the first department includes the title, the Chinese choice, the English choice, and the contents. The second department is the text, bao Luo Xianrong, literature review, scientific research essentials, arguments open and argument department, conclusion; Third Department Bao Luo references and acknowledgment department. The proportion of each department cannot be quantified in detail, but it is generally because the two sides of the small center are large. 1. Choose exciting theme. In general, English majors have taken courses covering English Literature, American literature, linguistics, distance studies, Anglo American culture, geography, society, business English, and Tourism English, the scope involved is extensive but narrow. English major undergraduate papers are mostly used in literature, linguistics, commerce, and cultural signs. However, some students do not think carefully or study related materials, in a hurry, I chose some theme topics that I was interested in but not accumulated in reading. As a result, it was difficult to start the topic or to start the topic because of incomplete materials or a large amount of reading.

2. The title is too small or too large. In general, the teacher will give some titles for the students to choose, and the students can also make their own titles. Initiate the author's own question preparation. For example, if the author is allowed to present his or her own characteristics, each result may be different from the public. When preparing a question, do it right. It cannot be too big or too small. For example, the title "China-US cultural competition" is too big to be used as a thesis. The title can be written into hundreds of thousands or even thousands of words, and the title is changed to "from ...... From the perspective of China-US cultural competition, you can write about words of papers. Of course, the title cannot be too small to discuss a specific aspect of a topic. For example, if the title of "talking about the usage of a word" is too small, it is not enough to write a 5000-word paper.

3. I will not summarize the arguments. The thesis is of practical guiding significance, or discusses a theory, or provides some essentials, or analyzes some signs. The arguments can be demonstrated in the course of opening the paper. Some papers are patchwork, mostly arguments are listed, Yun; some papers put forward different arguments in different departments, forming multiple arguments each hill, the essence is still no argument.

4. I am not clear about my point of view. Before writing a thesis, you must have a clear understanding of the viewpoint and category involved in the thesis. Otherwise, it will affect the layout of the entire thesis or the arguments. For example, the title of a thesis is "Business oral English characteristics and Chinese Translation Strategy", the author opens a big talk about interpretation definition, classification, role, then talk about the cultural circles, Chinese and American cultural differences. However, criticism and debate on the characteristics of business oral English only occupies less space of the entire paper. Obviously, I am not familiar with the definition of business oral English. I am not sure about the oral characteristics of inquiry, quotation, signing Treaty, warehousing and transportation, chartering and booking, etc, do not understand the translation strategy can be from the literal translation, translation, transliteration, translation, translation and other aspects of manpower.

5. The arguments used are not adequate to support arguments. Regardless of the use of the induction method or the theory method, arguments and arguments should be organically combined. For example, in the paper "Chinese and American animal vocabulary competition", the use of animals in various etiquette places in arguments is too far away from the question. Another selected argument cannot act for the argument, the argument is not open around the argument, or even completely deviated from the argument, so that the argument and argument are two layers of skin, each said everything.

6. The layout is messy and lacks logic. Academic papers must have strong logic and clear layout, which requires the author to have a thorough mind and mind. Some papers focus on the primary and secondary issues, but do not follow the certainly logical order. As a result, it is difficult for readers to understand the content of the paper or to grasp the key points.

7. There is no innovation in the article. The full text is a summary or literature review. This is a common problem. The author just adapted several books or articles from his department and made them into a new one, or simply added them to hold a new definition, there is no in-depth research on this topic to form the concept of capital body, and proper innovation is held.

8. The references are incorrect. Important table: some authors have not referred to this document in several aspects. In order to fulfill the mission of "The document must provide references", the document is listed only by reading the title; some authors cited a document but did not mark the relevant information according to the requirements; some authors did not reference the department of the "first hand" source, and the "second hand" source as the original document to reference.
